Description

Long neckline is used mainly to connect the tug-line dog to the shaft dogs. Usually the long neckline goes from tug-line dog collar to the O-ring on the shaft dog’s saddle. Ideally when the tug-line dog is running straight ahead as he should, the long neckline is loose while the tug-line is tight.

The photo shows the bamboo sulky with its built-in tug-line hitch. Notice that the shaft dogs AND the tug-line dogs are harnessed with tug-lines.

Notice also that the bamboo sulky is strong and versatile and light weight.

The long neck-lines are 18 inches long and they adjust to shorter lengths. They are versatile and solve unforeseen problems in a pinch.
